What is unique about Paw Prints Weekly?

Paw Prints Weekly contains some of the most intelligence and self-motivated students on campus. Throughout my three years in the program, I have met so many individuals that I admire and look up to. Journalism is more than just a class; it is a family committed to producing weekly paper. I am confident that joining this organization will change your life for the better.”

Why should you join Paw Prints Weekly?

“You should join Paw Prints Weekly, because you are able to develop your writing skills and organize your thoughts into a well-structured and smooth-transitioning article. Paw Prints offers what few, if any, English or writing classes offer: the polishing of an array of skills. You can learn to  write, edit, layout, take pictures or draw. Week after week, you get the satisfaction of having finished an entire article, and you are challenged, in a good way, to meet the deadline and publish an entire newspaper in one week’s time.”

How has joining Paw Prints Weekly changed you?

Paw Prints Weekly has taught me how crucial good communication is to work effectively as a group. I learned that I should not be scared to voice my opinions, because my comments actually help the group improve. Being able to print a newspaper is a group effort, so everyone’s input is essential to our growth and development.”

Why did you decide to join Paw Prints Weekly?

“I wanted to be more [involved] in school and meet new people. I saw Paw Prints Weekly as a great opportunity for me to explore my creativity and put my name out there through my art. As an incoming senior, I wanted to contribute more to the school and make my last year here a memorable experience.
