Drama hosted its “Haunted Theater, The Four Horsemen of The Apocalypse” from Oct. 29 to Oct. 31.

Advanced and Intermediate Drama students constructed an elaborate maze based around the Four Horsemen Of The Apocalypse. The annual maze promoted Halloween spirit and tickets costed five dollars per student.

According to Drama Department teacher Kimberly Weaver, the event encompassed high expectations, considering its success from past years.

“We [hope] the student body] will enjoy the maze since the event is usually a huge success every year,” Weaver said. “Not only do the students who experience the Haunted Theater have fun, but members of drama also enjoy organizing the maze.”

According to Advanced Drama president senior Fayelin Plascencia, the event focuses on spreading Halloween spirit around the campus.

“The event plays a pretty big role [during Halloween season;] it [allows] everyone to feel a lot more festive even if they do not celebrate the holiday,” Plascencia said.

As stated by freshman Gianna Barro, drama’s execution became a key factor to the scary element of the haunted house.

“At first I thought the event was not going to be really scary, but I [later] learned that the event was organized extremely well since the students did not break character during the [maze performance],” Barro said.

Drama’s next event is the Night of One Acts for the intermediate class from Nov. 7 to Nov. 8.
